EverBlue Technologies is a spin-off from Largentec Vertriebs GmbH and the Free University of Berlin. Our first products are based on the breakthrough and proven antimicrobial AGXX® technology from our partners Heraeus and Largentec. Entrepreneurial action, university research, and industrial partnerships make possible what others consider impossible.

We develop and market innovations that make sense economically, ecologically, and socially. Our first products are revolutionizing antifouling for recreational boats. Further developments in ecologically compatible fouling protection and water purification will follow.

Made in Germany — with scientific excellence as our foundation and the drive to create real alternatives where compromises are the norm.

“Resolving the tension between ecology, society, and profitability through innovation and turning technologies into a viable business is my passion — EverBlue Technologies is the company for it!”

Dr. Olaf Wagner, Chief Technology Officer

“What began nearly 20 years ago with my involvement in Viva con Agua led, through my scientific work, to the development of sustainable technologies for the protection of our waters.”

Active oxygen generated by hydrocatalysis creates effective antifouling — and in the end, only pure water remains.

The catalyst technology on which Everblue Antifouling is based is known under the brand name AGXX® and is manufactured and marketed in various application-optimized versions by Heraeus AG in Hanau.

The effectiveness of AGXX against more than 130 microorganisms was confirmed in cooperation with universities (including FU Berlin and the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology), research institutions, and in scientific trials with NASA.

This created the foundation for our innovative antifouling coating.

Due to the close connection to sailors, the numerous rivers and lakes in Berlin (Berlin has approx. 60 km² of water surface), and the growing need for a sustainable antifouling solution that is not based on classic biocides or microplastic abrasion, the development of a water-based antifouling, free of solvents and the release of toxic chemicals, was a challenge we were happy to take on.

After years of development work and testing on panels as well as on recreational boats over several seasons, we will bring the first product to full commercial maturity by the end of 2026.

OxyCoat from our laboratory production is already available in the shop — while stocks last.

We are pleased to make a contribution to the reduction of copper compounds, microplastics, and silicone in the water.
